Allison Pressimone, DO, is an attending physician at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Pediatric Hospital Medicine at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Pressimone’s clinical focus centers on providing high-quality care to children and their families during their hospitalization.
After receiving her Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Mount St. Mary’s University in 2010, Dr. Pressimone completed postbaccalaureate studies at Alvernia University in 2012. She then earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017 before completing her Pediatric Residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore in 2021, where she was Chief Resident in her final year. Following this, Dr. Pressimone completed a clinical fellowship in pediatric hospital medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in 2024.
Dr. Pressimone’s research focuses on children with medical complexities and transitions of care, particularly between inpatient care and their medical home. She also has an interest in exploring effective communication with families during hospitalizations. She has given numerous invited presentations.
Dr. Pressimone is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
