Dr. Marlyse Haward is a board-certified pediatrician and neonatologist who earned her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh. She completed her training in pediatrics at the University of California at San Francisco and a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. At Montefiore Medical Center, she also earned a Certificate in Bioethics and Humanities from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Cardozo Law School. Dr. Haward’s research interests are focused on the processes of shared medical decision-making between patients or their surrogates and health professionals.
