Carolyn DeBiase, MD is an attending physician in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at Montefiore-Einstein. She sees a wide range of otorhinolaryngology patients, with a clinical focus on head and neck cancer patients. She specializes in the reconstruction of head and neck cancer defects, including microvascular surgery.

After earning her Bachelor of Science in biology at St. John’s University, Dr. DeBiase attended the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, receiving her Doctor of Medicine in 2015. From 2015 to 2020, she completed a residency in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery at Albany Medical Center. She then completed an advanced head and neck microvascular and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Mayo Clinic in 2021.

Dr. DeBiase's research focus is on resident education, specifically microvascular training, and quality improvement in postsurgical care for head and neck cancer patients. She has shared her research and findings through oral and poster presentations.
