Kara M. Mesznik, MD, is an attending physician at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical focus is in adolescent medicine. She strives to create a medical environment that ensures all patients receive compassionate, high-quality care tailored to their unique needs.
After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from Syracuse University in 2010, Dr. Mesznik earned her Doctor of Medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in 2017. She completed her pediatrics residency at Kaiser Oakland Medical Center in 2020, followed by a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian-Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, Columbia University Irving Medical Center in 2023.
Dr. Mesznik has engaged in various research initiatives within the pediatric emergency room. She has shared her work nationally through peer-reviewed publications, abstracts and invited presentations.
Dr. Mesznik is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatrics.
