Nufar Sharon, MD, is an attending physician at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Sharon has always felt passionate about changing people’s lives through surgery. With thirteen years of experience in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery, she provides personalized care for individuals who often feel overlooked, believing that everyone deserves to feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. Dr. Sharon works closely with each patient to understand their goals and create a tailored treatment plan that reflects their individuality.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Medical Sciences from Joyce and Irving Goldman Medical School at Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Beer Sheva, Israel, in 2006, Dr. Sharon earned her Doctor of Medicine at the same institution in 2012. She completed a medical internship at Meir Medical Center in Kfar-Saba, Israel, in 2011, followed by her plastic surgery residency at Soroka University Medical Center in Beer Sheva, Israel, in 2018.
Dr. Sharon’s interest focuses on complications in plastic surgery. Her work has been shared through peer-reviewed publications as well as abstracts and presentations at conferences.
Dr. Sharon is board certified in Plastic Surgery in Isreal. She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Israel Medical Association and the Israeli Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery. She is fluent in both English and Hebrew.
