Eric Miller, MD, is Director, Pulmonary Function Laboratory and Assistant Professor, Medicine at Montefiore Einstein. His clinical focus centers on asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema, pulmonary function testing, cough, shortness of breath, smoking cessation, interstitial lung disease, respiratory failure and point-of-care ultrasound.

After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in biology and psychology from Johns Hopkins University in 2008, Dr. Miller earned his Doctor of Medicine at Drexel University in 2013. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Maryland in 2016 and his pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at Montefiore Einstein in 2020, where he was Clinic Chief in his final year.

Building on his clinical focus, Dr. Miller’s research focuses on pulmonary function testing. His work has been shared through multiple peer-reviewed publications and poster presentations.

Dr. Miller is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Internal Medicine.
