Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship

The Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) Fellowship Program at Montefiore Einstein offers trainees a collegial learning environment that fosters collaboration, mentorship, creativity and excellence in clinical, scientific and academic settings. This two-year fellowship for obstetrics and gynecology residency graduates is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and provides training in the diagnosis and management of complex gynecologic conditions using advanced endoscopic surgical skills.

Fellows will receive instruction in anatomical principles, instrumentation, gynecologic conditions and pathology, vaginal surgery, operative laparoscopy, operative hysteroscopy, robotics and complex abdominal surgery.

Fellows operate at all Montefiore Einstein sites where MIGS is performed (Jack D. Weiler Hospital and Hutchinson, Moses and Wakefield Campuses). Fellows serve in two-month rotations as the gynecologist attending. Research time is incorporated into the weekly schedule.
