Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship
The Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship Program at Montefiore Einstein offers trainees a collegial learning environment that fosters collaboration, mentorship, creativity and excellence in clinical, scientific and academic settings. This three-year fellowship for obstetrics and gynecology residency graduates is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and provides subspecialist training in research, teaching and clinical practice. Fellows will have the opportunity to obtain specialized training in one of the following tracks:
- Clinical research
- Intensive care unit (ICU)/critical care
- Laboratory or translational research
- Patient safety and quality improvement
- Public health/community health
- Ultrasound/prenatal diagnosis
- Women’s global health
Research & Scholarly Activity
- Development of improved methods of prevention and treatment of disorders that impact the health of pregnant women and infants
- Research activities ranging from the basic sciences to the bedside
- Focus includes:
- Cardio-obstetrics
- Fourth trimester with an emphasis on hypertension
- Obesity
- Perinatal pharmacology
- Placenta accreta
- Preeclampsia with hypertensive disorder

April 28, 2024: Deadline for applications to be included in the first notification
May 20, 2024: Single modification date for interviews
May 28, 2024: Initial deadline to accept or decline interviews
June–August 2024: Recommended interview dates
