Aravind Pothula, MD, is an attending physician, Plastic Surgery and Assistant Professor at Montefiore Einstein. Dr. Pothula’s clinical focus is on the operative and non-operative treatment of disorders of the hand and wrist. He has additional training and focus on peripheral nerve and brachial plexus injuries.
In 2006, Dr. Pothula obtained his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School. He completed his plastic surgery residency training at The Mount Sinai Hospital in 2012. He then completed a fellowship in hand and peripheral nerve surgery at the Washington University School of Medicine in 2013.
Dr. Pothula’s research focuses on hand and peripheral nerve surgery, with work shared through peer reviewed journals and presentations.
Dr. Pothula is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has successful completion of the Subspecialty Certificate in Surgery of the Hand (formerly CAQ).
