About Our Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Program
The Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Montefiore Einstein is among the largest programs of its kind in the United States. We diagnose and treat diseases, deformities, injuries and ailments of the jaw, teeth, gums, face, mouth and neck.
Our team of board-certified doctors, residents and nurses work together to provide the highest level of care to children and adults using state-of-the-art technology and surgical techniques. We collaborate with other specialties within the Department of Dentistry and across the Montefiore Einstein healthcare network to provide world-renowned treatment.
We provide a full range of services, from treating simple infections and performing tooth extractions to the most complex and demanding reconstructive procedures to repair facial bone deformities. We offer the latest technology and the benefit of our vast expertise, along with a well-earned reputation for total patient care.
Our Services
Our integrated team of surgeons comprises the nation’s most skilled, specialized dentists, who bring their extensive experience in corrective and restorative surgery, including dental implants, jaw surgery and treatment for oral cancer. We also perform trauma surgery and an array of cosmetic surgery procedures, such as cleft palate and lip repair.
Montefiore Einstein’s multidisciplinary approach begins with a collaborative diagnosis and determination of the best course of treatment based on each patient’s unique circumstances. Whenever appropriate, our department works closely with Montefiore Einstein’s outstanding Craniofacial Center to achieve the most successful outcomes.
