Message from the Chair

The Montefiore Einstein Department of Urology, ranked among the top 1% of hospitals nationwide for urology by U.S. News & World Report, offers state-of-the-art care for diseases of the urinary tract occurring in adults and children. Our services range from general urology care to subspecialty capabilities that include robot-assisted, minimally invasive cancer and reconstructive surgery, advanced endoscopic care for kidney stone disease, expert medical and surgical treatment for sexual dysfunction, as well as the use of leading-edge technology such as high-intensity focused ultrasound and Rezūm, a rapid, office-based treatment for an enlarged prostate.

The Department is part of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and is dedicated to training the next generation of urology specialists through our highly competitive residency training and fellowship programs. We are committed to quality improvement and research, collaborating nationally with other institutions to continue to improve the services we offer and the patient experience.

Our faculty of 24 urologic surgeons and 10 nurse practitioners provide care at multiple convenient locations in the Bronx, Westchester County and the lower Hudson Valley. We look forward to serving you.
