Since 1980, when Dr. Selwyn Freed united Montefiore’s world-class clinical care with Einstein’s academic leadership, Montefiore Einstein Urology has been at the forefront of urologic medicine. Today, we are nationally recognized for our expertise in diagnosing, treating, and researching even the most complex urologic conditions. We’re ranked in the top 1% of all hospitals in the nation for urology and among the highest-performing hospitals nationwide for prostate cancer surgery, according to U.S. News & World Report. We are a referral site for the most complex and high-risk cases and collaborate with our Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center, among the 1% of National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer centers in the U.S.

Our multidisciplinary team provides expert, compassionate care for both adult and children, across the full spectrum of urologic conditions. We create personalized treatment plans using the latest technologies and medical advances, whether for general urology concerns, complex conditions, or urologic cancers. Our penile implant center is among the busiest in the region, offering advanced prosthetic and reconstructive options. We also offer one of the few programs in the country where urologists and gynecologists collaborate to treat women’s pelvic floor, urologic, and sexual health needs.
