Global Health Trips
Since 2012, our residents and faculty have had the unique opportunity to accompany our physicians and visit medical facilities around the world. The team partners with local clinical staff to perform operations and care for as many patients as possible. In addition to helping patients, the medical missions are a chance for Montefiore Einstein professionals to exchange medical expertise with local physicians. Our physicians and residents have traveled to countries including Bolivia, Kenya, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Colombia, Peru, Vietnam, Ecuador, Philippines, India and Uganda, among many others.
