Montefiore is intent upon helping members of the communities we serve make educated healthcare decisions, understand the importance of preventive care and gain greater access to local health-related resources.
Let's Talk About Cancer—an interactive, bilingual education forum—was designed with these goals in mind.
On Monday, November 3, 2014, Montefiore Einstein Center for Cancer Care and is community-based partners invite you to:
- Learn more about the most commonly diagnosed cancers.
- Receive information about health resources in your neighborhood.
- Discuss with elected officials the legislative actions being taken to ensure access to quality healthcare.

Cancer Support Services for the Mind, Body and Spirit
The Montefiore Einstein Center for Cancer Care offers an array of valuable prevention and support resources to aid those suffering from any type of cancer. Whether your needs are physical, spiritual or emotional, our exceptional supportive services will enhance your life.
Our programs are designed to help patients and their families cope with the psychological and emotional effects of cancer and cancer treatment. Through education, counseling and stress management techniques, you, your loved ones and our own medical staff work together to help you face the challenges of cancer with knowledge, support and hope.
Services are available to patients who have recently been diagnosed with cancer, are currently undergoing cancer treatment, are in post-treatment and are at genetic risk for cancer. They are also available to spouses and family members and are provided at no cost. Many are offered in English and Spanish.

- Free Quality of Life Screening Program
- Yoga-Based Cancer Rehabilitation
- Mind-Body-Spirit Support Group
- Meditation Stress-Management Program
- Eat Healthy Shop Smart
- Smoking Cessation Program
- Strength Through Laughter
