The Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases Fellowship Program
(Moses and Einstein Campuses)

The Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases Fellowship Training Program of Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center is a 3-year gastroenterology fellowship offering vast clinical and endoscopic experience. Gastroenterology fellows rotate through four hospitals, each with its own full-time staff of digestive diseases experts, and participate closely with the 23 voluntary attending staff who play an important role in their education.

The Gastroenterology Fellowship Program
(Wakefield Campus)

The Gastroenterology Fellowship Program held at the Wakefeild Campus is a fully accredited, three-year program that accepts one new fellow each year. Fellows encounter a wide variety of clinical experiences and interact with patients from many ethnic groups and backgrounds. Fellows are responsible for inpatient consultation and for follow-up of patients; they discuss each patient with a faculty member.

The Transplant Hepatology Fellowship at Moses Campus

The Transplant Hepatology Fellowship Program at Montefiore’s Moses Campus is an intensive one-year program of advanced clinical training. 

Our program—open to physicians who have completed a ACGME-accredited gastroenterology fellowship—is designed specifically to develop future academic leaders by offering broad exposure in outpatient and inpatient medicine to a variety of liver diseases. 

Fellows qualify for advanced certification in liver transplantation from the United Network for Organ Sharing and transplant hepatology board certification.
