Research Funds for Adolescent Medicine
For more than a quarter century, the Division of Adolescent Medicine at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) and Albert Einstein College of Medicine has revolutionized healthcare for teens and young adults, aged 13 to 20, in the United States and around the world.
Informed by the latest research, our physicians provide consultations in adolescent gynecology, menstrual disorders, eating disorders and behavioral problems, as well as primary care. Our unrivaled team of physicians, nurses, and social workers understands the unique struggles teens face. We strive to keep our patients healthy through compassionate care, education, and pioneering research.
Philanthropic funding for our faculty and fellows drives groundbreaking research within the department. To advance adolescent healthcare, we ask you to consider investing in our work. We have established two funds to support our junior and senior faculty:
To commemorate Dr. Susan Coupey’s illustrious 40-year career, we established the Susan M. Coupey, MD Research Fund, which provides junior faculty and postdoctoral fellows with financial resources to conduct innovative research to improve adolescent health.
Named in honor of the highly distinguished former Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics, the Michael I. Cohen, MD Fund for Adolescent Medicine provides senior faculty with funding for transformational research in adolescent medicine.
We thank you in advance for your generous support.
