Institute for Human Communication

Human communication is the essence of life. When it is defective, a person's life, whether they are young or old, is gravely diminished. Their ability to participate in society - personally and professionally-is severely compromised.

Experts at the IHC understand this. Inside our walls, we bring to together embryologists, cell biologists, geneticists, audiologists, linguists, surgeons, speech and swallowing therapists and other scientists to research ways in which comprehensive patient care can be achieved.

The research advances under the IHC help our highly-trained experts evaluate communication problems and devise individual strategies for treatment. We use the latest technologies and medical advancements to secure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
