Bronx, NY — Montefiore Einstein Orthopedics invites the community to participate in the Knock Out Sarcoma 5K Fun Run on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Van Cortlandt Park. This annual event aims to raise awareness and funds for sarcoma research, uniting patients, families, healthcare professionals, and supporters in a shared mission.

Sarcomas are rare cancers that can affect individuals of any age, often striking without warning. The Division of Orthopedic Oncology at Montefiore Medical Center is at the forefront of diagnosing and treating both soft-tissue and bone sarcomas. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Musculoskeletal Oncology Laboratory, which is dedicated to understanding the origins of these tumors and developing more effective treatments.
