Certification and Licensure
Montefiore—an accredited American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center—gives all residents and fellows the opportunity to obtain Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support training.
Basic Life Support (BLS)
To register for BLS training, please visit the Talent Management Website. You will need your username—the 6-digit EZ-ID number, including all zeroes, found on your pay stub or on the back of your ID badge—to login.
The first time you log in, your password will be the same as your username, but you will asked to change it. Remember, both your username and password is case sensitive.
Search “Basic Life Support” to find day and evening classes available at three Montefiore campuses.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Detailed registration instructions on PALS and ACLS training classes held at the Tishman Learning Center (Moses Campus) are available on the Montefiore Learning Network Page on the Intranet.
Both courses require a valid American Heart Association BLS card.
