Residency & Fellowship Programs
Located in the heart of New York City, Montefiore Einstein provides a unique opportunity for hands-on training in one of the most diverse urban areas in the country—one where the population is global, the disease burden is high, and the need is great. We stand among the top 10 largest medical and surgical training programs in the country, providing postgraduate clinical training annually to over 1,500 residents and fellows across 100 accredited programs.
Our mission to improve access and quality of care for our diverse community draws residents and fellows from top medical, dental and physician assistant schools from around the world. We develop and expand programs designed to advance teamwork, communication and decision-making, and our progressive focus on comprehensive care provides an ideal training ground for our residents and fellows.

Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein (CHAM) prioritizes creating lifelong learners in pediatric medicine. Our renowned faculty and comprehensive programs promote health equity through quality improvement, ethics, humanism and a comprehensive approach to clinical reasoning and diagnostics.
With a central focus on serving our diverse young community, our Department of Pediatrics offers extensive exposure through our residency and 19 specialized fellowship programs.
