Bronx, NY — Montefiore Einstein Orthopedic Surgery proudly announces that Dr. Eli Kamara and Dr. Mani Kahn have been inducted as Fellows of the American Orthopaedic Association (AOA), one of the highest honors in the field of orthopedic surgery.

The AOA, founded in 1887, represents a small, select group of leaders dedicated to advancing orthopedic care, education, and leadership. Fellowship in the AOA is not obtained through application; it is earned through peer nomination and a rigorous review process recognizing outstanding achievement and service to the profession. Fewer than 10% of practicing orthopedic surgeons nationwide hold this distinction.

This recognition reflects Dr. Kamara’s and Dr. Kahn’s exceptional leadership, commitment to musculoskeletal health, and dedication to mentoring the next generation of orthopedic surgeons. Both physicians have made significant contributions to the field through clinical excellence, research, and education at Montefiore Einstein.

“We are incredibly proud of Dr. Kamara and Dr. Kahn for earning this prestigious recognition,” said Neil Cobelli, MD, Chair, Orthopedic Surgery, Montefiore Einstein. “Their work exemplifies the values of leadership, innovation, and compassionate care that define Montefiore Einstein Orthopedics.”

Montefiore Einstein congratulates Dr. Kamara and Dr. Kahn on this well-deserved honor and celebrates their continued impact on advancing orthopedic care locally and nationally.
