First Year Fellows
Bhavna Abbi, MD grew up a local to our area in Westchester county, NY. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins University and received her master’s degree in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She subsequently completed her medical degree at St. George’s University, and completed her residency training at St. John’s Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, NY. She joins the rheumatology fellowship program with an interest in pursuing clinical research in vasculitis. In her spare time, she enjoys running and spending time with her husband.
Sai Koyoda, MBBS was born and raised in India and completed his medical studies at Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India. He later moved to the US in pursuit of higher education and finished his internal medicine and chief residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Monmouth, NJ. Sai loves to spend time exploring his favorite subjects: philosophy, and physiology and aims to work on novel modalities of managing autoimmune disorders and anticipates being a translational physician.
Dima Nimri, MD was born and raised in Amman, Jordan. She earned her medical degree at the University of Jordan Faculty of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency training at the University of South Dakota. She loves to travel and as an extrovert, loves being around people all the time. Outside of work, Dima enjoys reading, lifting weights and binge-watching Netflix. What attracted her to Montefiore was the diversity of the patient population, wanting to help the underserved and addressing healthcare disparities. Her own personal mission is prolonging people’s lives purely by making them laugh and saving their lives one joint at a time!
Patrick Webster, MD was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He attended College at Wayne State University, where he ran cross country, running in two national championship meets for the university. He went on to attend medical school at St. George’s University and completed his internal medicine residency at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has been interested in rheumatology since medical school and has presented his research at the national conference of the American College of Rheumatology. He is looking forward to his next chapter and completing his rheumatology fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore Medical Center.
