About
Rosmi S. Mathew is a Family Nurse Practitioner in the department of hematology/oncology, specializing in bone marrow stem cell transplant and cellular therapies. She works collaboratively with oncologists to deliver care for patients with various hematologic malignancies undergoing chemotherapies, stem cell transplants, cellular therapies and clinical trials. Ms. Mathew also provides ongoing care to patients after treatments and those on clinical surveillance.
Ms. Mathew joined the Montefiore Health System in 2006 as a Registered Nurse and cared for patients with various medical, surgical, neurologic and neurosurgical ailments. After completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Rajiv Gandhi University in Bengaluru, India in 2001, Ms. Rosmi moved to the United States and continued her medical training. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Pace University in 2017 and then later completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Dominican University in 2023. She holds national board certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Ms. Mathew is a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA), the New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA). She has ongoing participation in clinical trials and studies in oncology as well as oncology/bone marrow transplant tumor boards. Ms. Mathew was a “Faces of Respect” recipient at Montefiore Einstein.
